Antique Italian Chandelier, Brass Grape Vine with Two (Leaded?) Green Glass Grape Cluster, Late 1910/ Early 1920, Brass with Verdis Gris,

1 in stock

We believe antique lights are the jewels of early and pre-1900’s homes, and whether you are restoring your home or desiring to add antique lighting, this unique Italian chandelier is no exception! Brass grade leaves and vines are adorned with intricate brass scrolls and accompanied by two grape clusters at the sockets. The grape clusters are very heavy at exactly 4 pounds each, which impels me to believe they green satin glass is leaded. Verdis Gris present at various places on the brass. Very exquisite!

This chandelier was purchased at an antique store in Milan Italy during the 1970’s. The owner had the original sockets re-wired with UL listed wiring during the 70’s of which is still present (fully inspected and tested to date). Modern mounting hardware included and ready to install. Use standard size bulbs, up to 75w,not included.

Measures an impressive 14 inches across and hangs 30 inches from ceiling. Recommended for 10+ foot ceilings at travel paths or 8-9 foot ceilings above a dining table.
